OUR STORY

Our team has been in the industry since 2005, and has operated a full-time, brick-and-mortar shop since 2008 (Offshore Tackle & Repair). We expanded with Moon Phase Rods to showcase our products and better serve the rod-building community.  Our team members are not just warehouse or retail workers…they are all experienced fisherman with a couple of charter captains among them.

We own and stock all of the products we list in our shop or our local warehouse.  A fair percentage of what we offer is vintage, hard-to-find or no longer being manufactured.  While some of these products have been out of circulation for years and are old stock, they are new items (simply having been in storage).

Customer Care

Shipping

Once we receive cleared payment for your order, we generally ship your parcel within one to two business days.  We also offer free local pickup in the Stuart, Florida, area.

Our standard shipping service is by U.S. Post Priority Mail.  For domestic mail, our shipping fee is a flat rate of $8.00 per parcel.  We will carefully pack as many components as we are able into one parcel, with 99% of online orders fitting into one parcel.  Although rarely an obstacle, note that U.S. Post does have weight and size restrictions.  If your order does not fit into one box, or if it exceeds weight and size restrictions, we will contact you first.

For international mail, our shipping fee is a flat rate of $35 per parcel.  International shipping is also subject to what we can carefully pack into one box, and subject to the weight and size restrictions for your country’s zone.

Payment

Most customers pay with the credit card of their choice — Visa, MC, AmEx, Discover — and these transactions are securely handled by and at PayPal.  No PayPal account is required.  (PayPal account holders may also use PayPal for their purchase.)

In addition to credit card transactions, we offer the possibility of payment by check as an option.  Please mail a check along with a printout of your order to: Moon Phase Rods, Attn Web Order Dept, 2201 SE Indian St Unit E3, Stuart, FL 34997-4984.

Returns

Your satisfaction is important to us.  If you receive your order and are not satisfied with it, please contact us by email or telephone ([email protected] or 772-214-6731).  We ask that you contact us within 7 days of receiving your parcel with your question or your request for a returns authorization.

If you decide to return the item, we will accept carefully packed returns within 30 days.  Customers will receive a full refund, but are responsible for return postage.

Privacy Policy

Our online store offers convenient checkout through PayPal.  All credit card transactions are handled by PayPal.

You can make purchases as a guest or make an account.  If you decide to make an account with our online store, our site will retain your billing/shipping/email addresses for your convenience when you shop in the future.  This personal data belongs to you, and is used only to support your experience on our website, and for you to manage access to your account.

Interested customers are invited to join our mailing list.  We periodically email a newsletter about noteworthy offerings, sales and new additions to our inventory.  The mailing list is self-service, and you may add or remove yourself on our site.

We also post announcements on our social media accounts, particularly Facebook and Instagram.  If you are on those platforms, we invite you to follow us there for the latest buzz.
